Special Singapore Public Speaking Classes for Special People

Special Singapore Public Speaking Classes for Special People

We all know how important effective communication is to our daily lives. It is through our understanding of words (verbal) and body language (non-verbal) that we get to communicate to others our feelings and needs, and to express our affection to one another.

Think back to the time when you felt superb frustrated and disheartened when the close friends or relatives fail to understand what you were thinking and feeling. Now, try amplifying that feelings of frustrations and irritation tens times, twenty times! That’s how many intellectual disabled people often feel… desperation and the feeling of loneliness…

While it is true that people with intellectual disabilities are slower in learning to talk, to speak their emotions freely and clearly, however, that doesn’t mean they can’t!

Like us, the fortunate lot, they too can learn how to speak in front of an audience with confidence and assurance. They just need to be patiently taught how to and the techniques in doing so.

Yes, they may take longer time to learn, but they can learn and Ernest Chen can teach them how!

Everyone of the intellectual disabled people is different. Some may have concurrent disabilities like Down Syndrome, Williams Syndrome, Fragile X Syndrome, Prader-Willi Syndrome or other behavioral symptoms that may impair their ability to communicate effectively.

However, from Ernest’s experience in teaching these intellectual disabled people, he has found out that they are in fact just like normal people, except we have to be more patient with them to understand their behavior and mentor them accordingly.

It has always been Ernest’s goal to organize and conduct special public speaking classes in Singapore for people with special needs so as to:

Maximize their true potential
Prepare them to integrate with the mainstream society
Imbue into them the confidence in speaking with people whether to one or to many
Motivate them and prepare them for employment
Build up their stamina to face the world
